Jim has taken the girls up to Kelly Canyon a few times for night skiing this winter. All his time, lots of hard work, and LOTS of patience has paid off! I can't believe how good both of them are, it's amazing! Paige has no fear and goes way too fast. She had a couple of hard crashes, thank goodness for helmets!
Crew is enjoying a snack while wearing Paige's jacket from last year which still has the ski lift ticket on it from 2009.
It's chaos getting three kids outfitted. It didn't help that Hailey and Paige were fighting...at least they smiled for the camera once they found out we were taking pictures!
I was there, just not in any pictures. I spent most of the day with Crew who did pretty well skiing but then had several melt-down moments in between the trips up and down the magic carpet. He and I ended up in the lodge for the last hour of the day. Thank goodness I brought a little dvd player for him and the Kindle for me! I kept telling myself that all this hard work will pay off someday when they're older and we'll all be skiing down the same mountain together. We are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel!
