All three kids started school today, quite a momentous occasion for ALL of us!
Crew is going to Lighthouse Montessori two mornings a week. He clutched me for dear life this morning as I left, I felt awful. Miss Margaret, his teacher, said he calmed down quickly and had a great time. He seemed to be unusually tired after school when I picked him up and he woke up from his nap with a fever. Sick on the first day of school! Now I really feel bad. But as you can see, he looked pretty happy this morning!
Paige started All Day Kindergarten today! She's been in pre-school for three years and is already reading, I figured she could handle all day school. She said she had a great time! She has Hailey's kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Davis.
Hailey started 2nd Grade and is in Mrs. Cousin's class (supposedly the best 2nd Grade teacher). I think this will be a great year for her. She said she loved her first day. However, now that it's time for reading homework, the tears are flowing. Poor kid gets so overwhelmed when it comes to reading. She's good at it, just doesn't like it yet. Hopefully we can change that this year.
I have to admit, I was excited to have some time to myself but I did miss them! I love these monkeys more than anything!
